HEIGHTS LINE PARK

The Heights Line is a transformative community-led project in North Memphis that converted a former trolley line into the longest linear park in the district.

This now-vibrant public space provides:

Enhanced Connectivity – Linking historic neighborhoods to parks, urban centers, and transit routes including the Wolf River Greenway and Shelby Farms Greenline.

Recreational Opportunities – Offering a safe and accessible environment for walking, cycling, and enjoying the outdoors.

Community Revitalization – Promoting community life, improving aesthetics, and stimulating economic development in North Memphis.

This project was made possible through a powerful partnership between the City of Memphis, the Heights CDC, and the city’s Accelerate Memphis program. The Heights Line stands as a testament to the impact of community-driven initiatives and collaborative urban revitalization efforts.
