W.C. Handy Park Project
The redesign of W.C. Handy Park called for making it more spacious by removing the existing brick arcade and perimeter fencing, adding rooftop signage, and including park-side storefronts, to make the park more accessible and inviting throughout. Further enhancements included new landscaping, upgraded lighting, and new public restrooms integrated next to Club Handy. As a subconsultant to Kimley-Horn, Malasri Engineering provided civil design services.
